We are currently seeking a professional, innovative and enthusiastic Executive Director for a community non-profit 501(c)3.

Position Summary-

The Executive Director is the key administrative leader of the Hualalai Ohana Foundation (HOF). The Foundation was established in 2002, with a focus on Medical and Educational grant and program support for employees within the Hualalai Resort Community. The Executive Director will be responsible for total operations including programming, finance and operations oversight, implementing the strategic plan, marketing, staff development, community relations and collaborations within the community.  

Working closely with the Board, Executive Committee and Committee Chairs, the Executive Director supports the programs, staff and day-to-day operations.  As the face of the organization, the Executive Director will maintain and grow relationships within the member and employee community.

Ideal Candidate-

Candidate will be self-motivated, be able to lead and work independently as well as part of a small office team. Show demonstrated ability to exercise good and timely judgment in complex situations. Demonstrated ability for strong communications and influencing skills along with public speaking and writing. Ability to develop and implement fundraising strategies.

Proficient with PC Computer, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Google Docs, Adobe InDesign, Social Media platforms. Preferred experience with Network for Good Donor Management software.

Employment Type- Full-time

The position is Monday-Friday and reports directly to the Board of Directors. Occasional weekend/evening for events are required. The position is established under a contract with the Board of Directors. The position includes full coverage medical, vision & dental insurance, sick and vacation benefits.
