About the Crisis Response Fund and 'Ohana Kokua Relief Award

Thank you for your interest in applying for a relief award through the Hualalai ‘Ohana Foundation.  We’re glad to be able to assist you during this time of need.


The purpose of the Hualalai Crisis Response Fund is to assist our ‘ohana, who have been affected by the Covid 19 Crisis, by addressing essential needs with assistance including, but not limited to:


Gift cards for grocery/home goods

Electric utilities assistance

Prescription reimbursement 

Vocational training assistance

Tuition assistance

Serious medical needs assistance


Who is eligible to apply:

Hualalai Resort or Four Seasons Hualalai employee who has experienced financial duress following the Covid 19 Crisis due to:

  • Any Hualalai Resort or Four Seasons Hualalai employee who has experienced financial duress following the Covid 19 Crisis due to:
  • Eligible furloughed employees who missed the first round of applications.
  • Currently working employees and paid for less than 30 hours per week.
  • Currently working employees and paid or 31-40 hours per week.
  • Casual employees who previously worked more than 20 hours per week.
  • Award amounts will be based on financial need, availability of funds and total amount of funds received. 
  • All applicants must be employed for at least one year and working at least 20 hours per week or 1040 hours.
  • Applications must be submitted by May 31, 2020.
