Back by popular demand, the Hualālai 'Ohana Foundation is proud to announce plans for our Summer 2023 program at Kalaemano. Coordinated in partnership with 'Imiloa's Hālau Lamakū Program and the Kalaemano Interpretive Center, this one-week summer 'aina based summer enrichment camp welcomes keiki who are entering Grades 1 through Grade 6 from 8am to 3pm Monday-Friday.
Session 1 will be held July 17-21
Session 2 will be held July 24-28
This year's theme is "Life on the Reef"
Hālau Lamakū honors lama, a native dry forest tree that grows in Hawai‘i and nowhere else in the world. Lama signifies “light” or “enlightenment” that evokes learning, knowledge, and understanding. Explorers will engage in activities, crafts, games, outdoor exploration, observation grounded in Hawaiian culture, science, math, engineering, and art.
PLEASE NOTE: As of 4/10/2023, our program registration list is full.
